It's my Barnes & Noble Gift Card and I'll use it how I want to
I just caved and bought Poldark on DVD; even though we're only on Ep. 3 here in the US.

I bought it knowing I would end up binge watching it as soon as it arrives; even though I'm supposed to be writing.

I bought it; even though I've turned into complete Poldark trash and have watched each episode twice (something I rarely do).

But it's okay, because I also bought Death in the Haymarket for book research. That totally validates my purchase of Poldark!

Literally me right now:

Ha ha, this is awesome! Glad you're enjoying yourself, even if it is mostly at your writing's expense. I've been super, super lazy about writing lately myself, so you're definitely not alone there.

And, yay, a Kiersten White quote!

The good news is it looks like the book will arrive sooner than the DVD's, so score one for me!

I love Kiersten White; though I haven't finished her Paranormalcy series nor read her other books. There's too much to read, and like my writing, sometimes I have these droughts of not reading anything for months.

Kiersten White is like the Easter Bunny of YA. And I hear you on there being so much to read, it's overwhelming. I have two books that have been sitting next to my bed for 3 weeks, and I've barely started them.
